The country fair kicked off with 5 entries in the chili cook-off. Terry Thomas won first with Christy Kelley coming in as a close second. With almost 200 people attending there was plenty of activities to keep everyone busy! From the preschool game room to the pie eating contest there was a good time had by all. Several kids commented on their way out the door that this was “the best party ever!”

This past weekend, Oct. 19-21, the Youth Group went on our semi-annual work retreat at Spring Hill Camp.  We had a great weekend and got to do some new work that we have never done before (digging rocks out of the ground).  Everyone did a great job working while also having alot of fun.  If you would like to go straight to the web album click HERE.

Many of our ladies attended the Gun Powder ‘n’ Lace event where they had the opportunity to shoot a variety of guns.  From the pictures it looks as though they had a great time.  Enjoy the slideshow or click HERE to go to the web album.

This last weekend there were about 20 men and boys who attended the men and boys campout.  We had a wonderful time hanging out and getting to know one another.  We also enjoyed talking about worship, integrity, discipleship, and character.  Here are some pictures from the camping trip and would love if you were to join us next year.  Watch the website for details next summer.
