“. . . a decree went out from Caesar Augustus that all the world should be taxed.”  Most of us recognize that piece of the Christmas story.  We can locate Augustus historically as the ruler of imperial Rome and we all know about taxation and governmental decrees.

This last weekend there were about 20 men and boys who attended the men and boys campout.  We had a wonderful time hanging out and getting to know one another.  We also enjoyed talking about worship, integrity, discipleship, and character.  Here are some pictures from the camping trip and would love if you were to join us next year.  Watch the website for details next summer.

Our 16^th President’s name was Abraham Lincoln, however that same name today symbolizes character, perseverance, and resolve.  In like manner our Creator has a name; in fact He has several names.  Each name reflects a certain aspect of His character.
